Dolce Vitta Hair Extension Review

I ordered my Dolce Vitta Hair Extensions in Light Brown #8 in 120 grams. My natural hair is on the thinner side so the 120 gram set was perfect for me. When I got the extensions in I was so amazed at how soft the extensions were, and the clips were a very good quality. The clips had a rubber grip on the bottom that keep the hold on your hair so there is no slipping. I have had my extensions since April so I have had time to really wear them and make sure the quality is good. I have even dyed the extensions and it didnt change the feel of the extensions, they were just as soft and silky as the day got them. To keep your extensions in the best possible condition wash them as little as possible and don't use product on them if at all possible. I have owned extensions and only washed them twice over a year, most extensions last anywhere from 6-8 months but if you dont use product and dont wash them they wont dry out and can stay  in the best condition. The only thing negative I have to say about the extensions is they clips arent sewn on the wefts very well. In just the 2 months that I have had them 3 of the clips have come unsewn, but that is an easy fix. They dont knot up in the nape of your neck like another extension brand I bought a while ago. I would definately recommend these extensions to anyone that is looking for a little change up with their hair...more volume or length. 

                    

Shopping Fun HAUL

This is a collective Haul...things that I have purchased the past 2 weekends. The first pictures consists of everything from Ulta except for one thing, and that is from Arbonne. I got the Arbonne Sheer Glow Highlighter, its a very subtle highlight. Then we have NYX stay matte but not flat powder foundation, NYX shine killer, essence stay with me longlasting lip gloss in the shade 'my favorite milkshake', essence stay with me long lasting lip gloss in the shade 'candy bar', essence lipstick in the shade 'sparkling romance', NYX lipstick in the shade 'NYX', NYX lipstick in the shade 'narcissus', NYX mascara Le Frou Frou, NYX blush in the shade 'peach'. Then I got a tank from H&M and the black and silver sunglasses from there as well. The pink and black pair came from Charming Charlies. Then this weekend I went to Ulta yet again..LOL! I joke that I'm there as much as some of the employees! This time I picked up some Dry Shampoo, the Rimmel stay matte powder since the NYX is already hitting pan and I have only had it for a week now. I wanted to try  the Maybelline Super Stay 24hr makeup! its NEW and I'm a sucker for anything that says NEW! I also picked up Maybelline Line Stiletto, its by  far my favorite liquid eyeliner! I really wish they would come out  with colors...because I would definitely pick up a teal, blue, and purple! I also got the Rimmel Scandaleyes, and have loved it so far! The brush is so thick and gets EVERY lash! Then I stopped into Old Navy and picked up this cute shirt and best part it was on clearance! I NEVER find anything that I ever want in the clearance section of ANY store! I stopped into H&M and picked up the necklace to go with the tank top since it looks like a rope and the tank has a nautical look since its a navy blue stripe. I also got my Sedona Lace brushes in that I ordered. I ordered the 480 round top powder brush, the 928 flat top powder brush, the 602 angled top powder brush, and the EB09 universal blender brush. The flat top brush is perfect for applying foundation and the angled brush is great for contouring, and the round brush can really buff out concealer and blend it all in. and the blender brush works better than the MAC 217.

Day 30 of My Beauty Challenge

And the last day of my beauty challenge! My favorite piece of jewelry  isn't something crazy expensive...its not something passed down from generations...its a watch! I have never found jewelry that I enjoy to wear around my wrist, but that has definitely changed and it all started with this watch! For a wedding gift my husband asked me what I wanted...and after buying me my Cartier perfume and body lotion for the big day I told him a watch. Yes he gave me that crazy look, that he was going to spend anywhere from $500 for something that I would NEVER wear! But out of all the watches that we looked at I decided to go with something that would match all my outfits. I choice a silver fossil watch called the Stella Stainless Steel, I like the look of bigger watch faces since my wrists are so small. But this watch changed my desire to wear "arm candy"! Every time we go somewhere I always want to look at the watches.

Well because I live in Illinois and we have those crazy seasons my favorite drink does change. In the colder months its definitely a Pinot Noir wine, I haven't found a Pinot Noir that I don't like so I wont specify a brand. And in the summer since we love to sit out by my parents pool its definitely Pina Colada. Coconut is my favorite flavor of any kind of frozen drink, and when you add coconut flavored rum...doesn't get much better than that!

If I could live one place it definitely have to be Florida...southern Florida! Clearwater area would be great! We spent our honeymoon there and I fell in love with the whole vibe. The location is perfect because you are close to the ocean, which I LOOVE, and so close to all the shopping! It was really just perfect. I am not one of those people that need all the seasons either. I can really do with out all that snow, The fact that it doesn't normally get below the 40's or 50's is just great! I live in the Chicago-land area and our winters can be FIERCE!

The item that is on my wish list is a tie between 2 things. The First is the Naked palette, I love the colors of the first one so much, there is just so much that you can do with those colors. Its one of the best palettes I have seen, can make a look casual or dressy, day time or night look. Its the perfect palette. And the second would be Cinderella extensions! I have a friend who does hair for a living and have been meaning to get this done. But everytime I have extra money it seems like something happens that I need to spend it on something more important! But those are the 2 beauty items I definetly want to purchase in the next year!
